Revolving lazy susie
This rare lazy susie is from the Art Deco period. It has an inlaid star pattern and inlaid border trim in contrasting tones, protected with glass.
Three metal knobs on the sides make it easy to turn. The rotating mechanism is on ball bearings, which makes the tray turn ultra solidly and smoothly.
The glass has small signs of wear, such as a little chip, as shown in the photos, and light scratches on the surface that are hard to see. It could easily be replaced, but we have left the original glass as it is in great condition for its age, and perfectly functional. We believe it adds value to the piece.
Overall, this is a truly unique item that could be used to display cheese, condiments, or snacks and appetisers. It would also make a wonderful cake stand.
