A Cambridge ware water jug with metal interior and handle. The outside features the traditional two-tone veneered bands that are typical of Cambridge ware of the 60s and 70s.
The metal spout is nicely weighted, with some signs of wear, and the jug itself has a gentle rotund shape.

It is unusual to come across Cambridge ware water jugs, with bowls and biscuit barrels being more widely available. This one is in lovely condition.
