Black Forest cheese tray
A beatifully carved tray from the Black Forest region (1910-1930). It has two solid handles at each end, carved with grapes and vine leaves, which might suggest it was originally intended as a cheese tray.
The central section has a lip. Overall the patina is a rich chocolate colour and the tray is in great vintage condition.
